Correx sheets and cutting templates are compressed together under intense force in a machine called a cutting platen. The power of the machine passes through the Correx stamping and cutting template knives, resulting in neatly shaped finished profiled panels. The surrounding waste is then sent for recycling.
Corrugated plastic can also crease during the die-cutting process, where lines can crease into the face of the sheet, the lines don’t go all the way through it.
